Next week at DoDIIS, NJVC will be showcasing a few of our government cloud computing partners. One of the most exciting of these is the Cloud Service Orchestration Framework by Teleology Systems, Inc. The following is a guest post from Mr. Werner Adams, Teleology VP for Business Development.
Today many Government organizations are attempting to leverage cloud computing technologies to spur innovation. Most have at least one cloud service and are embracing the cloud with the promise of efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. Cloud computing is seen by many as the next wave of information technology for individuals, companies, and governments. Federal CIO Vivek Kundra has been working to cast a vision fostering an “apps economy” for open-source technologies and mandating that all agencies begin moving applications to cloud infrastructures right away. The cloud ecosystem consists of many technology vendors that offer support for public or private clouds and many of those vendors offer specific Software as a Service applications that utilize the cloud to achieve very useful results.
Our company, Teleology Systems, Inc. (TSI) will debut our game changing new product at DoDIIS in conjunction with our Partner, NJVC LLC. Our product, CloudeFX, provides a way for users to create their own applications and workflows in the Cloud. CloudeFX is a robust software framework that is a self-contained, vendor agnostic service development environment where anyone can build custom applications from a browser – without programming. Applications produced using CloudeFX also provide the ability to consume external web services such as geospatial data thus creating a new cloud-based application in a matter of hours opposed to days, weeks, or months. Subsequently with CloudeFX, newly orchestrated applications can be published for consumption by shared communities of interest. Our unique capability to create and publish cloud-based applications will dramatically reduce time and costs to create new applications and workflows as well as connecting to existing applications quickly reducing the total cost of ownership.
