A hybrid cloud may become the solution as the debate between public vs private cloud becomes so 2013. The industry’s experts will debate on when the hybrid clouds are and are not the be all and end all and if the infrastructure supporting the hybrid clouds really matters. As stated by IBM, “Dynamic hybrid cloud environments are harmonizing computing demands and capabilities – public and private clouds, on and off-premise clouds, and traditional IT environments.”

Laura DiDio is a highly visible information technology industry analyst, consultant, a professional writer and a former reporter. Laura has 20 years of experience in the high technology industry. Steve Strutt is CTO for Cloud Computing, IBM UK and Ireland, working with clients to derive business value from the “as a service” delivery model of cloud computing. He assists clients to innovate in IT service delivery, and has pioneered the adoption of cloud technologies and business models to realize increased client IT productivity, agility and cost reduction. He is passionate about the sustainable use of IT and is an active member of the Intellect Data Centre Council, The Green Grid EMEA technical working group and the BCS.

Dr. Michael Salsburg is a Distinguished Engineer and the chief architect for Unisys Cloud Computing. He is a distinguished engineer, working in the Technology, Consulting and Integration Solutions (TCIS) group. His responsibilities include being the lead architect for Cloud Engineering within TCIS as well as chief architect for the overall architecture of the Unisys cloud

Kevin Jackson – A senior information technologist specializing in information technology solutions that meet critical Federal government operational requirements. Recently, he was named a “Cyber Security Visionary” by U.S. Black Engineer and Information Technology magazine. He is the founder and author of “Cloud Musings”, “Cloud Musings on Forbes”, and the founder and editor of Government Cloud Computing on Ulitzer electronic magazine.
